Heroes and LOST Lead the Way for Most Pirated Shows of 2009
Last year, pirates were obsessed with good vs. evil, making NBC's "Heroes" the most-pirated TV show of 2008.
This year, the buzz is that the show may be on the verge of cancellation thanks to dwindling ratings (it averages about 6 million viewers a week, down from nearly 14 million when the show first premiered in 2006).
But "Heroes' continues to be a juggernaut in online piracy. According to Torrentfreak, "Heroes" was downloaded 6.58 million times in 2009, topping the year's most-pirated list.
The only other show in the top 10 that boasts fewer weekly viewers than total illegal sharers is Showtime's "Dexter," with about 2.3 million viewers and 2.78 million pirated downloads. (And Showtime is a pay cable service, of course.)

Record Breaking DVR Numbers for Several Shows
As expected, with so many shows on TV, lives getting busier and the availability of DVRs, the DVR Ratings for several shows increased tremendously!!
Dollhouse and Smallville received a record 50% increase on their live viewers from their Friday night showings. While Grey's Anatomy led the way with the most increase in actual viewers and Fringe and Heroes leading the way with the highest percentage increases in viewers.
This is great news for several each of these shows and ratings numbers were down across the board, but these shows seemed to be hit the hardest with the stiff competition during prime time TV.

We are now a few weeks into the new TV Season and the big question on everyone's mind is whether a specific show will be canceled or not!?
The folks at TVbytheNumbers put out a chart every season that truly has been fairly spot on for the last two years that I can remember. This chart is updated through the season, but like I said has been fairly accurate.
However, this not any official formula, but just based on an index they have created.
Things do not look good for Dollhouse fans as it is the number show on the chopping block, but Heroes fans can perhaps breath a little sigh of relief for now as the chart shows a potential return next season. Another fan favorite show that is in the "Danger" level is Fringe.

It has been a real-life cliffhanger bigger than the one faced by her character Izzie in the season finale of "Grey's Anatomy": Will co-star Katherine Heigl return to "Grey's" next season?
Sources have said that Heigl's option on the medical drama has been picked up, meaning that she will continue on the show.
The news comes soon after word leaked that Heigl's pal on the show, T.R. Knight, won't return next season.
