Fringe - Set Report & Photos

FOX's sci-fi drama Fringe was in downtown Vancouver yesterday, shooting at The Hudson's Bay parkade. The scenes included Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, John Noble and Lance Reddick, all of whom were atop the structure for a scene which culminated in a pretty spectacular stunt (by TV standards, that is).
The below pics from the location shoot were acquired exclusively by CinemaSpy. The sequence, we're informed, portrays a rather harrowing stunt in which a police officer falls (or perhaps is "pushed") over a railing and plunges inside the spiral exit of the five story parking facility...presumably to his death.
We've got a few shots of the actual fall, and the stuntman's impact with the air bag at the bottom of the garage (don't try this at home, kids). Everything went well from what we hear, and it should be quite a sequence.
But first up, we've got a few shots of the crew at work (the show may have left its setting of New York, but as you can see, Vancouver is standing in for the Big Apple). We've also got a couple of pics of Lance Reddick, Joshua Jackson and John Noble chillaxing between scenes.
Fringe returns to television Thursday, Sept. 17 at 9/8c. FOX is airing repeat episodes of the series leading up to its second season premiere.
