Fringe - Several New Season 3 Spoilers About Altverse, Peter and More!
Fringe - Several New Season 3 Spoilers About Altverse, Peter and More!
1. The bell may have not yet tolled for Bell. Although Walter’s former lab partner William Bell may have died in the season finale, the exec producers were quick to point out that nothing is final in the world of Fringe. “Leonard Nimoy has retired from acting,” says Pinkner. “But if Leonard chooses to come back, there is a story in place that we’d love to tell.” Adds Wyman: “I think it’s fair to say that you have not experienced the last of William Bell.”
2. Walter’s advances towards mental stability over the past two seasons may not hold. “Walter will get to the point where he realizes that he has to go through insanity to get to the place where he can be okay,” says Wyman.
3. Expect to really get to know the Alternate Universe this season. Pinkner and Wyman say fans responded to the little touches in the scenes set there—like the zeppelins and Nixon coins—so they expect to show a lot more of those details in future episodes.
4. Keep an eye on Walternate, whose motivations and actions may surprise fans when they are revealed. “Walternate can conceivably turn over a card that you didn’t see coming,” teases Wyman.
5. The life-changing knowledge Peter now has about his own origins will send him on a quest to learn more—a mission that will eventually pay off at season’s end. “He’s going to start putting together a really nice-sized jigsaw puzzle,” says Wyman, “that will be eventful at the end of the season.”

FOX Picks Up New JJ Abrams Show Alcatraz Written by LOST Writer
Looks like FOX is getting a jump on the 2011 TV Season! Thanks to our friend Maria Elena Fernandez from LA Times for the heads up:
The new season begins next week, but Fox is getting ahead of the development curve, ordering pilots for next TV season.
The network has ordered "Alcatraz," which was written by Liz Sarnoff ("Lost"), and Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt, both of "Kyle XY," and is produced by Bad Robot, J.J. Abrams' company.
The show is described as "a dramatic series that explores the lore and mysteries of Alcatraz, the notorious San Francisco island prison."

Fringe - New Season 3 Casting News and Spoilers
The acting twins guest star as brothers in an episode of the Fox thriller that won't air until probably November. Fox has threatened to send some alt universe enforcers after me if I reveal any details about the Ashmores' characters or the plot of their episode, so I'm keeping mum. (I saw an Observer in my hotel lobby earlier, by the way.)
After watching a few scenes being shot on the Vancouver set earlier this week, I can say it's going to be a very cool episode with exciting action and some weird Fringey stuff happening.
I chatted with Shawn on set, who told me this is the first time he and Aaron have acted together in about 15 years.
"We're having fun with it, running around on set and fooling everybody," he said. "It's been fun. It's a huge experience and a good show."
Shawn, who played Bobby Drake the Iceman in the "X-Men" movies, and Aaron, who played Jimmy Olsen on "Smallville," haven't co-starred in anything in a long time for a simple reason.
"It's usually because the stuff that came along is kind of hokey, but I think the quality of 'Fringe' is really high and the episode is done well and our characters are intelligent," Shawn said. "We're going to have some fun."
